He has achieved multiple different specialisations, including in Laparoscopic Surgery and Minimal Invasive Surgery. The Doctor constantly keeps adding to and expanding his knowledge by seeking further specialisations and training so as to always stay up to date with the latest advancements in the medical field.
Since 2008, Dr. Koulouteris practices and conducts surgeries as a successful and respected General Surgeon mainly at Ygia Polyclinic, the largest private hospital in Cyprus, where he is also a Partner Doctor.

Specialised Treatments
Dr. Koulouteris specialises in the treatment of diseases of the abdominal wall (“Hernias”) by both Laparoscopic and Open Surgery. The Doctor has attained medical specialisation in the treatment of haemorrhoids and fistulas by utilising innovative laser technology (“LHP® – Laser HemorrhoidoPlasty Treatment”, “SiLac® – Sinus Laser Ablation for the Cyst Treatment”, “FiLac® – Fistula Tract Laser Closure Treatment”) and the minimally invasive procedure of VAAFT (“Video-Assisted Anal Fistula Treatment”).
Dr. Koulouteris performs surgeries for breast and thyroid diseases, biliary diseases (such as for gallstones / cholecystitis), as well as for diseases of the stomach, small and large bowel (such as inflammation and tumours), and dermatological ailments which require surgical removal (such as nevi, lipomas, cysts and ingrown nails).
